My Recursive Writing Process

Through the Recursive Writing Process sheet shown below the strategies I had learned throughout the semester of English 110 could be transferred and used in all of my courses. Of the list a few that really stuck with me and already have started incorporating into my other courses is the use of glossing the text found under the active reading strategies. The use of glossing the text is to find words or events the author brings up in the text and to google the meaning and definition to it. This is very useful to any course reading cause if their is a word or connection the author makes you need to find it out someway in order to understand what they are saying. Another big takeaway from the recursive writing process sheet is the free write method categorized under the brainstorming strategies. This is a very useful tip for any course outside of English, because it relies on you expressing whatever comes to mind and writing it on paper. This could be very useful in try to understand concepts or to just make sure every single point you have towards the subject is out in front of you.
