About Me

Hello, My name is Owen Kelley and I am from Lowell, MA a city on the rise. It is from seeing all this development through my life that I knew I would have to strive for the best at all costs, to not be looked at as a failure not only to my family, but also to where I come from. I am an applied exercise science major at the University of New England. I am currently a second semester first year student and hope by the end of my time at the university to be accepted to Physical Therapy graduate school. My end goal is to ultimately become a physical therapist. Being an athlete for most of my life thus far, injuries were inevitable and it was the therapist that I relied on to insure me the quickest healing with the most success. From all of the help and guidance I had received it had inspired me to one day follow their footsteps and help others and provide the great assistance I once had, and even possibly inspiring others to get involved with this great field in the health system. My reason for choosing UNE was because it was one of the most well known schools for the studies I was hoping to receive, and also it was very convenient not being to far from home in the case I had “homesickness”. Thank you for taking the time reading!
